This Privacy Policy explains how Color Made For You ("Color Made For You," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the Color Made For You iPhone application and this website (together, the "Services").
1. Information processed by the app
Photos and camera input
When you choose to analyze your colors, the app processes a selfie or photo you select. The analysis is performed locally on your device using Apple platform technologies and our color-analysis logic. The current app does not upload raw selfies to our backend or to an external AI provider for color analysis.
To keep your result available after you close the app, a downscaled thumbnail may be stored locally in the app's Application Support storage on your device. Resetting your analysis removes that locally stored analysis image.
Analysis and preferences
The app may store your color-season result, palette data, favorites, onboarding selections, and related preferences locally on your device so that your experience persists between sessions.
Subscription and purchase information
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store. Apple processes payment credentials and transaction details under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. The app uses RevenueCat to determine subscription entitlement status and Superwall to present and experiment with paywalls. Those providers may process identifiers, purchase/subscription information, and technical information needed to provide their services. We do not receive your full payment-card details.
2. Information collected through this website
This website is a static informational site. It does not include account creation, advertising trackers, contact forms, or our own analytics scripts. If your hosting provider automatically logs basic request information for security and delivery, that information is handled by the hosting provider according to its applicable terms and policies.
3. How we use information
Information processed through the Services is used to provide and maintain the app, generate and preserve your color result, personalize recommendations, verify subscription access, restore purchases, troubleshoot problems, protect the Services, and respond to support requests.
4. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers only when reasonably necessary to operate the Services, including Apple for App Store distribution and purchases, RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management, Superwall for paywall presentation, and infrastructure providers used to host this website.
Each third-party service processes information under its own privacy practices. Their data handling may change independently of this policy, so their current policies should be reviewed for the most up-to-date details.
5. Tracking and advertising
The current app-owned implementation is not designed to build an advertising profile from your selfie, and we do not sell personal data. The app's third-party SDKs may collect limited technical or purchase-related information as described by those providers. We review platform privacy disclosures when integrations change.
6. Data retention and deletion
App analysis data and the local analysis thumbnail are stored on your device for as long as needed to keep your result available. You can remove the stored analysis by using the app's reset functionality or by deleting the app. Subscription transaction records may be retained by Apple and our subscription service providers according to their legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and operational requirements.
If you contact support by email, we may retain the correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve your request and maintain appropriate support records. You may ask us to delete support correspondence where applicable by contacting us at the address below.
7. Permissions
The app may request access to your camera and photo library when you choose features that need them. You can control these permissions at any time in iOS Settings. Denying a permission may prevent the corresponding feature from working.
8. Children
The Services are not directed to children under the age at which parental consent is required for online services in their country. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information through a support request, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
9. International users and your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information, such as rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing. Because most color-analysis information remains on your device, we may not possess or be able to retrieve that local data. For information that we do control, you can submit a request using the support email below.
10. Security
We use a privacy-minimizing architecture intended to reduce unnecessary transfer of sensitive photo data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product, legal, or service-provider changes. When we do, we will update the effective date on this page. Material changes may also be communicated in the app where appropriate.
